Kalnava police said that after a 12-year-old teenage girl who could not tolerate her father’s abuse for more than two years
walked alone for a distance of 12 kilometers and complained to the Kalnava police station, the suspect’s father fled the area and was arrested.
According to the police, the arrested person is a 35-year-old ex-army soldier who lived in Kampala area and moved to Kalnawa area three months ago.
The police also mentioned that the father had abused the girl on several occasions from the age of 10 years (2019) till now.
About five days ago, when the girl’s mother went to Kampala to pick tea, the girl was abused several times by the suspect father and the girl came to the Kalnawa police station yesterday as she could not tolerate the father’s continuous abuse, police media spokesperson said.
After recording statements in this regard, when a police team immediately went to the house, the suspect’s father was running away from the area.
After this, the arrested suspect will be produced in court and steps have been taken to present the girl who faced the incident to the forensic doctor of Anuradhapuram Teaching Hospital for medical examination
இரண்டு வருடங்களுக்கு மேலாக தந்தையின் துஷ்பிரயோகத்தை பொறுத்துக்கொள்ள முடியாத 12 வயது பதின்ம வயது சிறுமி 12 கிலோமீற்றர் தூரம் தனியாக நடந்து சென்று கல்னாவ காவல்நிலையத்தில் முறைப்பாடு செய்ததை அடுத்து சந்தேகநபரான தந்தை, பிரதேசத்தில் இருந்து தப்பிச் சென்றநிலையில் கைது செய்யப்பட்டதாக கல்னாவ காவல்துறையினர் தெரிவித்தனர்.
கைது செய்யப்பட்டவர் கம்பளை பிரதேசத்தில் வசித்து வந்த 35 வயதுடைய முன்னாள் இராணுவ சிப்பாய் எனவும் மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு முன்னர் கல்னாவ பிரதேசத்திற்கு குடிபெயர்ந்தவர் எனவும் காவல்துறையினர் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.
சம்பவத்தை எதிர்கொண்ட சிறுமியை 10 வயது முதல் (2019) தற்போது வரை தந்தை பல சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் துஷ்பிரயோகம் செய்துள்ளதாகவும் காவல்துறையினர் குறிப்பிட்டனர்.
சுமார் ஐந்து நாட்களுக்கு முன்னர், சிறுமியின் தாய் தேயிலை கொழுந்து பறிப்பதற்காக கம்பளைக்கு சென்றிருந்தபோது, சந்தேகநபரான தந்தையால் சிறுமி பல தடவைகள் துஷ்பிரயோகத்திற்கு உள்ளானதாகவும், தந்தையின் தொடர்ச்சியான துஷ்பிரயோகத்தை பொறுத்துக்கொள்ள முடியாத நிலையில், சிறுமி நேற்று கல்னாவ காவல்நிலையத்திற்கு வந்துள்ளார் என காவல்துறை ஊடகப் பேச்சாளர் தெரிவித்தார்.
இது தொடர்பான வாக்குமூலங்களைப் பதிவு செய்த பின்னர், காவல்துறை குழுவொன்று உடனடியாக வீட்டுக்குச் சென்றபோது, சந்தேக நபரான தந்தை பிரதேசத்தை விட்டு வெளியேறி ஓடிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்.
இதனையடுத்து கைது செய்யப்பட்ட சந்தேகநபர் நீதிமன்றில் முன்னிலைப்படுத்தப்படவுள்ளதுடன், சம்பவத்தை எதிர்கொண்ட சிறுமியை மருத்துவ பரிசோதனைக்காக அனுராதபுரம் போதனா வைத்தியசாலையின் சட்ட வைத்தியரிடம் முன்னிலைப்படுத்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
