A dead body has been identified in Periya Paranthan area near Karadibukku Junction under Kilinochchi Police Division.
The body was identified in an irrigation canal located in the area and information was given to the police.
The police have started an investigation into the dead body. Forensic police have started investigations in the area.
According to the police, after the visit by the magistrate, he will be taken to Kilinochchi Hospital and a post-mortem examination will be conducted and a report will be submitted to the court.
