A 7-year-old girl was killed when an auto collided with a bus belonging to the Sri Lanka Transport Council’s Padulai depot at Ambitiya Mal junction under the Kahatarupa police division, Padulai.
The girl died on the way to the hospital with serious injuries.
Three people, including Achchirumi’s mother, have been admitted to Badulla Hospital. Otto was sent by the printer’s mother.
The bus that was coming from Kahatarupa towards Badula and the bus that was going from Ambitiya to Muthumalai area met with an accident.
The girl who died in the incident is a resident of Muthumalai Kovipola Kentakolla area and the driver of the bus has been arrested by Kahataruppa police and has been subjected to further investigation.

கடும் காயங்களுக்கு உள்ளான நிலையில் வைத்தியசாலைக்கு கொண்டு செல்லும் வழியிலேயே சிறுமி உயிரிழந்துள்ளார். அச்சிறுமியின் தாய் உட்பட மூவர் பதுளை வைத்தியசாலையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். ஓட்டோவை அச்சிறுமியின் தாயாரே செலுத்திச் சென்றுள்ளார்.
கஹட்டரூப்பயில் இருந்து பதுளை நோக்கி வந்து கொண்டிருந்த பஸ்ஸூம், அம்பிட்டியவில் இருந்து முத்துமாலை பகுதிக்கு சென்று கொண்டிருந்த ஓட்டோவுமே இவ்வாறு விபத்துக்கு உள்ளாகியுள்ளது.
சம்பவத்தில் மரணித்த சிறுமி, முத்துமாலை கொவிபொல கெந்தகொல்ல பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்தவர் என்பதோடு பஸ்ஸின் சாரதி கஹட்டரூப்ப பொலிஸாரினால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு, மேலதிக விசாரணைக்கு உட்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
